In putting together this limited important date list in Madison history, we feel it is correct to the best of our knowledge.  Sometimes we found conflicting information between historians and source materials.  All the information can be found at the Madison Historical Society.  You might find some of the books we have for sale useful if you are interested in investigating further history.
